We finally got away for a holiday. We went back, again, to the farm we love so much, deep in the Dartmoor hills that have our heart. It is the most amazing place. You should go. Really. Just not all of you or we won’t be able to book our weeks
When we went 2 years and 2 months ago, I’d have given a lot to know I was going to look at that armchair with a baby on a lap in it. To be honest, I’d have given a lot to know that a year ago, when I sat there each night waiting for the baby in my belly to move and reassure me for another day. We waited a long time to see if that cottage was compatible with a baby. (It is). Bene isn’t Freddie, but I was glad to take him there, glad to introduce him to the ducks and the dogs and the couple who own it who are now like surrogate grandparents to us all.
Here is Bene’s first holiday in photos.
(Proper holiday post coming soon!)
