Generally Josie with Moderate Maddy

September 3, 2010 by

Poor Josie has woken up with Chicken Pox this morning, which is odd to say the least since it was only yesterday that, hunting back through my blog to make myself cry with what a 5 month old should be doing, I found these pictures of Amelie from after she had chicken pox (lord, don’t clik the spam comment links in that post!!!!) and then today we have pox 🙁 Luckily she seems mildly affected so far; I could really do without more deathly sick children this year. I daresay she’ll be worse tomorrow but today she’s been mostly fine.

Among other things she’s drawn today, copying some neopet learn to draws, from a book.

Maddy did one too – it’s also extremely awesome 😉

A conversation from yesterday which made me 😆 and 😆 and 🙄
Me: Don’t kneel on it…”
Josie: I wasn’t!
Me: You was! (a grammatical pet hate of mine, I was kidding).
Josie: Mummy… not was… were! *sigh*

Edited to add: Josie’s baby sling *blush*

Pre-pox photo from yesterday. God how I hate the vile things is does to their little bodies 🙁

And then this…

Josie found the bear in a box in the garage and carried it around and played with it a while. Then she came and told me she had decided to put it on the shelf so it could be Freddie. She put it on my lap. It’s the first time she’s acknowledged him as having a place in the family and it meant a great deal to me, not only to have a bear there, but also to have one put there in that way, by her, because it felt right to her. I don’t think she’ll ever know how glad it made me.

Oh the irony of the pox 🙁 I’d been looking at S with them (which was what your post had been in response to I think)). Hope she has it mildly, but sufficiently to gain immunity. xxx

Poor Josie. Hope the itchy-scratchies are gone soon. Those drawings are amazing. I love seeing the art your children produce.

And, just wow about the bear. Bless her.
