Hmmmm….
Fran has done music, finished Chapter 3 in her history book and mastered (probably temporarily!) how to structure a sentence to include and use information from a quote. She has done some work in her science chapter but we need Max to help us with graphs in Word 
at self. She’s just finishing off an English chapter and adjective-ing verbs….
Maddy has done some history, some EC, music, maths, a bit of french and is reading a science book.
Amelie is very happy to have her own tick list and has done some maths, reading, some spelling, music and some “investigating”.
Josie has played games, spelled some words, drawn and is now working on letter sounds on EC.
I’ve really liked having a full uninterrupted day at home. In a minute we are going to re-instate bedtime stories, only in the afternoon as bedtimes are too late now and then hopefully go out for dinner and a film after Josie has been to gym. Max came home for lunch, which was lovely.
Various people seem to have also fitted in a lot of practising the splits and i think they’ve also had fun on the wii – and i just got an email to say rhythmic gymnastics starts next week – Ams and Mads are thinking of swapping one gym clas for that to give us a permanent week evening off gym.
Edited to add: we liked Fantastic Mr Fox (the film) very much and managed the first chapter of Tom’s Midnight Garden too.

Structuring sentences so they contain your own information from a given quote is really important.
Great that Fran is learning all about graphs in Microsoft Word. I do them in Excel or whatever open-source application comes my way. Pie and bar graphs especially, as well as picture graphs.

Tom’s Midnight Garden – I first read it at the end of 1991 and I am not forgetting it so quickly or easily. Wait until the 13 o’clock bit and Uncle Alan not believing. And I like Tom’s letter that he writes to his brother. And Hatty and the skates.
Papa really enjoyed Fantastic Mr Fox when he was a teacher.
Afternoon bedtime stories are good.
Do not quite understand what is involved in adding an adjective to a verb. I thought at first it could be something like ‘red fox’, but ‘fox’ is a noun. And I understand you do it in Latin too (and French).
