Musical Maddy
16th September 2009 | filed under UncategorizedHere are a couple of clips of Maddy playing her two instruments. She has been playing guitar for 18 months or so and having lessons for a year. She still likes it but gets a little frustrated when the sequences are hard. Still, it will be a great instrument to have later on, so i hope she keeps it up. She plays nicely 
A couple of months ago she picked up my flute and with very little guidance, got a note. She’s had one 20 minute lesson from a friend (thank you!) but has otherwise got herself this far. She likes it better than guitar now, she says and wants a flute of her own for Xmas. I shall oblige, if i can
Most of the breathy sound is due to the fact that my flute has never been serviced since it was bought – when i was 9!

I came back from UK with a flute in my bag, must get it out again, still wishing I had time to get back into the Sax tho xc

Impressed at the self taught flute
My lot have been learning guitar chords by themselves recently since we got a tablature poster for the back of the door.
