We've been home educating now for 2 years, and I'm still in "panic" mode! It's nice to get a long term perspective. My lot are now 10, 6 and 4 - the younger 2 have never been to school and I'm finding it much easier to home educate them (though in reality they seem to educate themselves). My eldest I struggle somewhat with - I feel he's probably still de-schooling, and we've yet to find the best way to inspire him. If it's one thing that has shone to me reading your blog over the past year or 2 is how much you really "know" your children, and I feel somewhat sad that being at school for all those years robbed me of that with my eldest.
