If it’s the same as the procedure for a 2 year old, nature will let you have it back in a few days. It’s easier to spot with a 2 year old though – when they have a chain of paperclips hanging off their nappy, it’s out.
Nah, it isn’t the magnet, just the ball bearing bit (thank goodness) – i did guess it was just nature, but checked with the doc who said not to worry unless she gets pain.

I know! I Know! Flapper did this not very long ago (again!!) its a case of waiting and watching!! (obviously look out for any pain or temperature)

So long as it’s just the one I guess you check poo until it comes out – nice expt to see how long it takes to go all the way through? Did the Geomag come apart then or has she swallowed one of those big spherical bits that join the rods together?

Large plum stones come through ok so I’d guess a small smooth sided geomag ball will be a breeze. You probably dont want it going into the toilet pan though – it may settle in the u-bend and potentially cause an obstruction. And that won’t be fun!

E swallowed a 5 pence coin not that long ago. Didn’t seem to cause any trouble 🙂 And no, I didn’t look out for it at the other end!
Brunel swallowed a coin doing a trick for his children and it got stuck 😮 and the doctor said that it was stuck for good. Brunel devised a see-saw thing with an ankle clamp, so that he could hang upside-down. It did the trick and the coin came out.
Could Max do the same kind of thing? Or you could just, ahem, let nature take its course.
I saw Jeremy Clarkson do that! But on balance (geddit?) i think we’ll go for nature!

R swallowed a 2p once (or so she told us) and we didn’t see it come out the other end, but didn’t worry about it either. Lovely children. R came running over to me all proudly and said “I just ate 2p!” I think she was just 3.

Dunno, but don’t let her near any other magnets until it’s out the other end!

A laxative? If you want it back that is. Which you might not.

lol – nah, it was just the ball. We’ve managed to get some education out of it anyway. 😉
